Chris Tucker (born August 31, 1971) is an American actor and comedian best known for his starring roles in the Rush Hour film series alongside Jackie Chan. He appears in the Epstein document archive primarily through flight records and internal communications spanning a decade. Flight records document Tucker on 18 flight legs aboard Epstein's Boeing 727, registration N908JE, during a September 21-30, 2002 Clinton Foundation humanitarian trip across Africa.
The passenger manifest for the outbound JFK-to-Azores leg (September 21) lists: President Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and 12 others including Doug Band, Ron Burkle, Casey Wasserman, Rodney Slater, Gayle Smith, Eric Nonacs, and Jim Kennedy (dc-6404379, f-074). The itinerary continued through Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique, and South Africa, with Tucker listed on each leg (f-074 through f-080). The trip's stated purpose was to study anti-AIDS programs on behalf of the Clinton Foundation.
The Africa trip became a recurring reference point in Epstein litigation. In the Ghislaine Maxwell deposition (dc-24356232), attorneys questioned Maxwell about the trip, referencing flight log entries listing "President Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Jeffrey Epstein and the initials GM" for September 21-27, 2002. Maxwell confirmed she remembered the trip.
In February 2026 congressional depositions, Bill Clinton described first meeting Epstein in 2002 on the humanitarian trip and characterized their relationship as "cordial." Multiple court filings and investigative articles cite Tucker's presence on the flight to illustrate the scope of Epstein's social network (d-28103, d-27781, d-30054, d-35316). Epstein's self-described birthday memoir, submitted to the House Oversight Committee, includes Tucker in a list of famous individuals Epstein claimed to have met: "I have met Prince Andrew, President Clinton, Sultan of Brunei, Donald Trump, Antonio Verglas, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Peter Brant, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson" (dc-26297027). The document is labeled "HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_000001" and appears to be a personal memoir circulated around the time of Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003.
Internal emails from 2013 reveal continued social contact between Tucker and Epstein five years after Epstein's 2008 federal conviction. On July 25, 2013, Epstein emailed assistant Lesley Groff asking "do we have any contact info for chris tucker," and Groff responded with Tucker's cell phone, email address, and assistant contact details (efta-02722737). On July 26, 2013, Groff emailed staff: "Chris Tucker will be stopping by to see JE sometime before his show tonight" (efta-efta02132417).
A follow-up that evening confirmed: "He is here w/ his son right now" (efta-efta02131784). On August 3, 2013, Groff relayed to Epstein: "Chris tucker called to say he will be in NY this Monday and wondered if you could do Dinner" (efta-efta01963012). Epstein replied: "Cannot and number days disconnected" (efta-efta01963096).
Mark Epstein, Jeffrey's brother, confirmed in deposition that Clinton "went to Africa on his plane" but stated he had never personally met Chris Tucker (efta-efta01249325). City Spy reporting described prosecutors noting that Tucker, Spacey, and others were on the plane "while young girls were present" but that Epstein's pilot swore he never suspected misconduct (d-19919). Tucker has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.
Court filings consistently note that prosecutors never charged anyone beyond Epstein himself (efta-efta01122242). Tucker is not listed in Epstein's black book.
