Legendary CBS 60 Minutes correspondent listed in Epstein's black book on page 56 with two phone numbers and a CBS address on West 57th Street. During the 2021 Ghislaine Maxwell trial, accuser "Jane" testified that Epstein took her to New York to meet Wallace, and that she sang at Wallace's 80th birthday celebration in May 1998 while accompanied by Epstein and Maxwell. Jane testified she was a minor at the time.
Maxwell's defense questioned Jane about the birthday party during cross-examination, and the prosecution described those details as peripheral to the core abuse testimony. Wallace was one of the most prominent broadcast journalists in American history, known for his confrontational interview style on 60 Minutes across nearly four decades. Chris Wallace, his son, is also a prominent television journalist.
Mike Wallace died on April 7, 2012, at age 93, years before the full scope of Epstein's network was publicly revealed. No allegations of wrongdoing were made against Wallace.
