Mary Small, also known as Mary Combs and by other surnames including Petit and Fleming, is named in a 2023 FBI memorandum as a coach at a gymnastics and dance studio in Northern Virginia who introduced a trafficking victim to Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein around 2001 to 2002, when the victim was approximately 17 years old. Mary told the victim it was an apprentice program. The victim was subsequently transported to Palm Beach, St.
Thomas, and New York, including an incident involving Leon Black at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse. Mary had a significant other named Eddie Small (Edward Charles Small). A CLEAR records check identified Mary through her date of birth, with multiple associated surnames on file.
The FBI subpoenaed her gymnastics studio but received no response as of the time of the memo.
