Mary Erdoes is CEO of JPMorgan Asset and Wealth Management, overseeing roughly $3 trillion in client assets. She featured prominently in the U.S. Virgin Islands lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase over the bank's relationship with Epstein.
Court filings allege that Jes Staley, JPMorgan's former private-banking chief and Epstein's main supporter at the bank, wrote to Erdoes the day after meeting Epstein in 2006 saying "I went and saw him last night." Erdoes personally wrote to Epstein on January 20, 2012 to wish him a happy birthday. JPMorgan stated that Erdoes and others exited Epstein as a client in 2013, one year after Staley's departure. JPMorgan paid $75 million to settle the USVI lawsuit.
No personal wrongdoing was alleged against Erdoes.
