Background

American neurologist and associate adjunct professor of neurology at UCLA, known for research on the neuroscience of music perception and founder of the Institute for Music and Brain Science at Harvard. DOJ-released EFTA files document correspondence with Epstein spanning 2010 to 2019. Tramo passed the contact information of at least one student to Epstein without that student's knowledge.

He received a $100,000 donation from Epstein for his research. His decade-long email correspondence with Epstein included discussions of research funding, introductions to other scientists in Epstein's network, and arrangements facilitated by Epstein's staff.
