Background

Former Deputy Mayor of New York City for Finance (1983-1985, under Ed Koch), Port Authority Commissioner, investment banker, and screenwriter who co-wrote the script for Wall Street. In 1991, Lipper together with Les Wexner, Wexner Foundation trustee Jeffrey Epstein, and Robert Meister pledged to raise $2 million to build Rosovsky Hall at Harvard University. Flight logs from 1997 included ‘Lipper and family’ as passengers aboard Epstein's private plane.

The connections appear to be through shared philanthropic work at Harvard and overlapping New York financial circles. Lipper has not been accused of wrongdoing.
