In November 2012, Musk asked about visiting Epstein's island and inquired about ‘the wildest party.’ On November 25, 2012, Epstein asked Musk how many people he would be bringing for the helicopter ride to the island; Musk replied ‘Probably just Talulah and me,’ referring to then-wife Talulah Riley.
Musk cancelled in January 2013 citing logistics. In February 2013, Epstein and three women visited SpaceX. Lesley Groff, Epstein's assistant, emailed passport copies for ‘Jeffrey and 3 girls’ to arrange the visit (EFTA02147114.pdf); Epstein emailed others: ‘the girls and i are going to see elon musk at space x tomorrow.’ In December 2013, Musk emailed Epstein on Christmas Day asking ‘Do you have any parties planned?’ Epstein replied ‘always space for you.’ A December 2014 scheduling note read ‘Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec.
6 (is this still happening?).’ Photographed with Ghislaine Maxwell at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party; Musk later claimed she had photobombed him and that he did not know her. Attended an August 2015 dinner in Palo Alto hosted by Reid Hoffman where Epstein was also present. Musk confirmed visiting Epstein's Manhattan townhouse once around 2012.
Musk has publicly stated he declined repeated island invitations; the emails show repeated attempts to coordinate visits whose outcomes are not documented. No victim has named Musk and no criminal allegations have been made against him.
