Background

Alleged recruiter for Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Named as a defendant in the civil lawsuit Jane Doe 43 v. Epstein (S.D.N.Y.

2017), filed by survivor Sarah Ransome. Ransome alleged that Malyshev recruited her in 2006 by describing Epstein as a wealthy philanthropist who helped financially struggling women achieve their goals. Emails from Malyshev to Epstein carried first names, ages, and photos of young women; one message proposed a 19-year-old who could ‘be rewarded’ for recruiting classmates.

Described by the Miami Herald as a former victim turned recruiter. Appeared on at least 3 Epstein flight manifests in 2006-2007. Featured in the Netflix documentary ‘Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich’ (2020) as ‘Jeffrey's Recruiter’ in archive footage.

Never responded to the Jane Doe 43 lawsuit; claims against her were voluntarily dismissed by Ransome.
