Academy Award-winning American actor and producer, best known for Wall Street (1987), Fatal Attraction (1987), Basic Instinct (1992), and Traffic (2000). Son of Kirk Douglas; producer of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). Douglas appears in 382 documents in the Epstein case files, primarily through indirect third-party mentions.
Douglas is referenced in three emails involving individuals in Epstein's orbit. In a January 2010 email, publicist Peggy Siegal; a key connector in Epstein's social network who facilitated many of his cultural and media relationships; forwarded to Epstein a story she had written for AVENUE Magazine about the making of Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, in which she described arranging access to the film set and its cast including Douglas. Two further emails from December 2017, sent by journalist Michael Wolff to Epstein, listed Douglas among public figures Wolff speculated might face sexual misconduct allegations in the then-emerging #MeToo reckoning, alongside Larry Gagosian and Arthur Sulzberger.
These were Wolff's private speculations in correspondence with Epstein, not established facts or findings in the case. Douglas is not listed in Epstein's black book and has no documented flight log appearances. The key document containing a reference to Douglas is EFTA01824522.
There is no evidence of direct personal correspondence between Douglas and Epstein. Douglas has made no public statement about Epstein. No allegations of wrongdoing have been made against Douglas in connection with Epstein's crimes.
