American entrepreneur and satellite communications engineer, founder of O3b Networks and later OneWeb Ltd, a low-Earth orbit satellite internet network that became one of the largest global rivals to Elon Musk's Starlink. Epstein files released by the DOJ in early 2026 revealed that Epstein served as an informal adviser to Wyler during the founding and fundraising phase of OneWeb (then operating as WorldVu Satellites Ltd) from approximately 2012 to 2014. The documents show extensive email correspondence and shared jet rides between Epstein and Wyler, as well as visits to Epstein's properties.
In June 2014, Epstein offered to help Wyler in exchange for a 30 percent cut of tax savings, an offer Wyler said he declined. Epstein discussed with Wyler potential investments from major technology companies but never invested himself. Wyler confirmed the interactions were professional and that Epstein presented himself as an adviser to many in the tech industry.
The relationship drew scrutiny following the 2026 Epstein file releases due to the scale of OneWeb's subsequent growth into a major global satellite operator.
