Background

Founder and president of Aircraft Services Group, an FAA-certified Part 135 charter management company for private jets and helicopters based in the United States. Reenstra began his aviation career as an Army helicopter pilot in Vietnam, served with Army Special Forces and Navy SEALs, and piloted Ronald Reagan's personal aircraft from 1977 to 1980. DOJ-released Epstein files show Reenstra communicated with Epstein about a helicopter sale to a Nigerian buyer for approximately $1.8 million, reporting that the majority of the transactional hurdles had been resolved.

In September 2010, Reenstra emailed Epstein about a mandatory trip to Nigeria to meet with then-President Goodluck Jonathan in connection with the transaction. The Nigerian business dealings also involved discussions about crude oil trading and other commercial opportunities. Reenstra appears in EFTA documents confirming multiple business dealings with Epstein involving aircraft and international commercial transactions.
