American computer scientist, professor of computer science at Yale University. DOJ-released EFTA files show email exchanges with Epstein on and off between 2009 and 2015. Described an undergraduate's appearance to Epstein.

Called Epstein ‘one of the two (maybe three) smartest men’ he had met. BARRED FROM TEACHING: In February 2026, Yale barred Gelernter from teaching after DOJ-released emails revealed he described an undergraduate student to Epstein as "v small goodlooking blonde." Email correspondence with Epstein spanned 2009 to 2015. Yale is conducting a formal review.
