Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation and daughter of President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Chelsea's connection is primarily through Ghislaine Maxwell, who attended Chelsea's 2010 wedding as Ted Waitt's guest, traveled on a yacht with Chelsea in 2009, and participated in Clinton Global Initiative conferences through 2013. Maxwell stated she was ‘very central’ to the startup of the Clinton Global Initiative.
A Clinton spokesperson said Chelsea was not close with Maxwell and only became aware of the ‘horrific allegations’ in 2015. Chelsea has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
