Background

Film director and producer, listed in Epstein's black book with 5 phone numbers. On November 1, 2017; the day sexual misconduct allegations against Ratner became public; Epstein sent an email to journalist Michael Wolff with the words "brett ratner next." In November 2018, talent manager Faith Kates emailed Epstein asking him to "call me on cell with Brett Ratner." A December 2018 entry in Epstein's calendar lists a "brett ratner" appointment. In an iMessage from November 6, 2018, Epstein introduced himself to an unnamed contact by writing: "Hi, im jeffrey.

Brett ratner thought we should meet." Ratner directed the Rush Hour trilogy (1998, 2001, 2007), Red Dragon (2002), and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). He stepped down from RatPac-Dune Entertainment and severed ties with Warner Bros in November 2017 after six women alleged sexual misconduct. No charges were filed.

No allegations directly connecting Ratner to Epstein's criminal activities have been made.
