Technical Director for Hospitality at Gensler, the global architecture and design firm, with over 30 years of experience in large-scale project delivery. Wicksman directed technical hospitality design work at Gensler during the period when the firm was contracted to work on Epstein's properties. Documents covering 2007 to 2011 show Gensler received payments running into the hundreds of thousands of dollars for design work on Epstein's private island, Little Saint James, in the U.S.
Virgin Islands. The scope included design of Epstein's main residence, swimming pool area, dock house, a spa concept, and a subterranean screening room. Gensler issued a statement confirming it was contracted for architectural services and that all design work and communications with the Epstein organization ended prior to any construction.
Architectural publications including The Architects' Journal and the Architect's Newspaper covered Wicksman's firm's appearance in the DOJ files. No personal allegations of wrongdoing have been made against Wicksman.
