Roy and Stephanie Hodges are originally from West Kentucky and became established figures in the luxury yacht industry. A 2013 thank-you email from Roy and Stephanie Hodges appears in the EFTA document release. Their names appear in EFTA communications relating to food logistics at Epstein's island, including a 2015 request for a menu from "Pizza Amore" in St.
Thomas. Stephanie handled bookkeeping and human resources duties on board the 240-foot superyacht Laurel, which Roy later captained. In 2019, the couple gained public attention when Roy used the Laurel to deliver supplies and rescue pets in the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian.
