Background

Criminal defense attorney in West Palm Beach who represented Jeffrey Epstein and was later referred by Epstein to represent Robert Kraft. Goldberger was Epstein's local Florida defense counsel. When Kraft was charged with solicitation at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in February 2019, Epstein emailed Goldberger: ‘yes im trying to have him hire you.’ Kraft hired Goldberger within six days.

Goldberger successfully argued the surveillance video was unconstitutionally obtained and got Kraft's charges dropped in September 2020. Epstein also texted Goldberger about a ‘past issue with Kraft that may come to light,’ which has never been publicly explained. Goldberger appears in 3,799 documents in the EFTA corpus.
