Turkish-American television personality and physician born June 11, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio. He rose to prominence as a health segment guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show before hosting The Dr. Oz Show (2009-2022).
He ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania in 2022 and was subsequently appointed Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) under President Trump. A 2004 Epstein transaction report shows $1,592 billed to Shoppers Travel, Inc. for Dr.
Oz's travel. In 2014, Epstein was invited to an event organized by Dean Ornish where Oz was a guest speaker; Epstein wrote that he was unavailable. On February 1, 2016, Oz and his wife Lisa sent Epstein an email with the subject line "Mehmet and Lisa Oz's Valentine's Celebration," linking to what appeared to be a Paperless Post card.
Oz has not been accused of wrongdoing.
