Background

Republican political consultant and pollster who served as Counselor to President Trump from 2017 to 2020, and was the first woman to successfully manage a U.S. presidential campaign when she led Trump's 2016 effort. Before her White House role, Conway ran The Polling Company and was a regular Republican media commentator. Her name appears in Epstein's black book, the contact directory of roughly 1,000 individuals leaked by former Epstein house manager Alfredo Rodriguez in 2009 and subsequently published by Gawker in 2015.

The black book contains contact information ranging from close Epstein associates to peripheral political and media figures. Inclusion does not imply a personal meeting with Epstein or any wrongdoing. In 2019 Conway appeared in her White House capacity to defend Labor Secretary Alex Acosta's handling of the original 2008 Epstein plea agreement.

No allegations of any personal relationship with Epstein have been made against her.
