The Daily Beast reported in 2019 that Epstein regularly brought groups of young women to the Fekkai Fifth Avenue salon after his 2008 conviction, where he paid for their services; former employees said the behavior was open and widely known among staff.
A Bloomberg investigation published March 11, 2026 detailed how the Fekkai salon served as a recurring venue in Epstein's perks network: DOJ-released emails show Epstein's office scheduling and paying for styling appointments at the salon for women in his orbit, including former Obama White House counsel Kathy Ruemmler. Fekkai himself is listed in Epstein's black book. No allegations of personal wrongdoing have been made against Fekkai.
