French banker and heir to the Stern banking fortune who appeared in Jeffrey Epstein's black book. A prominent figure in French finance, Stern was the grandson of banker Antoine Bernheim's business partner and moved in the highest circles of Parisian and Swiss banking. He was murdered on February 28, 2005, in his Geneva apartment by his companion Cécile Brossard, who shot him while he was wearing a latex bodysuit.
The case became one of the most sensational murder trials in Swiss history. Stern's presence in Epstein's black book places him in the financier's contact network during the period when Epstein was actively cultivating relationships with European banking elites.
