Background

Businessman and self-described aide who referred to himself as Epstein's "soldier." Found in thousands of Epstein emails and named more than 7,400 times in the DOJ EFTA document release. Acted as intermediary for Jonathan Fascitelli's proposals to sell FBI field offices in Baltimore and Richmond ($80 million, routed through a Cayman Islands offshore entity) and a Pentagon-adjacent complex in Arlington, Virginia (approximately $116 million) to Epstein in 2015 and 2016. Stern also served as an aide to Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and according to emails released by the DOJ, corresponded with Epstein over several years, including after Epstein's 2008 conviction and after Andrew publicly stated he had severed ties with Epstein.

Stern shared potentially sensitive information with Epstein related to British companies Aston Martin and Royal Bank of Scotland. In February 2026 Prince Andrew was arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of misconduct in public office following revelations in the Epstein files. As of 2026, Stern is believed to be living in the United Arab Emirates.
