Actor known for his roles in The Hunt for Red October, Glengarry Glen Ross, and 30 Rock. Alec Baldwin's name appeared in Jeffrey Epstein's black book with 4 phone numbers, and he was among the names published when the DOJ released the first phase of Epstein-related documents on December 19, 2025, under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The February 27, 2026 DOJ release of over 200 additional documents, including a contact book, again listed Baldwin among the celebrities whose contact information Epstein had collected.
Baldwin's name also appeared in the January 2024 unsealed Giuffre v. Maxwell documents when Johanna Sjoberg was asked in a deposition about celebrities she encountered in Epstein's social orbit. Baldwin attended social gatherings in the same New York elite circles as Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
In 2020, Baldwin publicly denied knowing Epstein, stating on social media that he never visited Epstein's properties or flew on his aircraft. He does not appear in flight logs. No allegations of wrongdoing in connection with Epstein have been made against Baldwin in any of the released documents.
The DOJ has stated that inclusion in the contact book reflects only that Epstein possessed someone's contact information, not that any criminal relationship existed.
